Local’s Café
: friendly, warm, welcoming, GREAT selection of DELICIOUS coffee beans including decaf options, comfortable seating indoors and outdoors, serves sandwiches and toasties, alternative milks available. Games and books also available.
My personal all-time favorite. From its Central Perk comfortable vibes to its welcoming employees who never fail to serve with a friendly smile on their faces. Their menu varies from coffee to their selection of desserts and the best FRESH homemade sandwiches and toasties in town! Best Americano I have yet to try and definitely my go to.
My go to order: Americano and a turkey & swiss sandwich.
Location: EDEN, Al Andalus
Available to order delivery on: Lugmety
AL MOKHA
: fresh, minimal, great seating, good selection of coffee, dessert & feels like a trip to an arabesque Greece. Alternative milks available however no decaf options.
My visit was during the day which I did not regret! I absolutely loved the fresh and quiet vibes which you already get a taste of from its façade. The style they went for with is transporting. Its white interiors provide a space for the mind to wander and serves a great spot to get out of a creative block. Cute seating nooks available which give its seating a sense of privacy. Two floors, with a creative indoor - outdoor smoking area overlooking the street.
All in all, definitely a spot to get work done on your laptop or iPad, or simply catching up on some reading during the day! I’d also recommend it for a quiet spot to meet for a catch up with a friend - tête-à-tête.
My order:
for wake me up: An Ethiopian or Costa Rican v 60 and really any coffee of the day.
for something sweet: French coconut
Location: Al-Murjan
Rattan Café
: beautiful earthy bohemian interiors, great vibes, two floors for seating, cozy with a stand of locally made items being sold. Selection of dessert available but no alternative milks.
With its light and consistent rattan interiors, wooden accents and cozy seating, Rattan Café stays true to its name, providing a great and refined space. This little hidden gem is Ideal for meeting up with friends for a cup of coffee or dessert. We visited at night but with its the high ceilings and top to bottom windows I would imagine a lot of natural light would come in, allowing a great and inspiring space to sip on a good cup of coffee and catch up on some work and to escape the bustle of the city.
My order: A regular latte
Location: As Salamah
BROOTS
: good coffee with decaf options available, sustainable cup options, wide selection of desserts, also specializes in cocoa! various hot cocoa drinks available!
Down a line of shops, Broots definitely stands out with its inviting tribal interiors. The coffee shop’s inviting fragrance of cocoa in the atmosphere and wide selection of desserts would definitely open your sweet appetite and if you are a sweet tooth than you are in luck! Not only can you indulge in their desserts with a side of coffee, but you could also try out their hot cocoa drinks!

Urban Roastery
: Soft opening. Dark ambience, no dessert, alternative milk options available.
With its consistent dark, modern interiors and dim lighting, we would definitely add this to our hang out spots to grab a coffee with friends. Its concrete walls, neon lights and mirrors compliment the sleek and modern gives it a city vibe reminiscent to that of New York City at night-time. Urban Roastery truly is “DIFFERENT” as advertised.
My order: Coconut latte – well balanced, smooth and creamy. Heated to a perfect temperature. And roasted in house.
& Cortado.
